Si le Tavascan propose un moteur synchrone \u00e0 aimants permanents de 286 chevaux<\/strong> animant les roues arri\u00e8re dans sa version \u00ab\u00a0de base\u00a0\u00bb baptis\u00e9e Endurance, la version VZ de notre essai s\u2019adjoint les services d\u2019un second moteur<\/strong> pour totaliser pas moins de 340 chevaux<\/strong>. Positionn\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019avant, ce second bloc d\u00e9livre 108 chevaux.<\/p>\n

Pour son fonctionnement \u00e9lectrique, Cupra a choisi de faire fonctionner seul le moteur arri\u00e8re<\/strong> dans la majorit\u00e9 des situations et dans les modes de conduite \u00ab\u00a0tranquille\u00a0\u00bb, de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 privil\u00e9gier les \u00e9conomies d\u2019\u00e9nergie<\/strong> et am\u00e9liorer le rayon d\u2019action. Mais lorsque l\u2019un des modes dynamiques est engag\u00e9 via l\u2019un des deux boutons d\u00e9di\u00e9s au volant<\/strong> (l\u2019un d\u2019entre eux appelle le mode Cupra, le plus radical), les quatre roues se r\u00e9partissent le couple issu des deux moteurs.<\/p>\n

Mais le Tavascan gardera toutefois toujours un comportement davantage typ\u00e9 propulsion, 70 % du couple au minimum restant \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re<\/strong>. C\u2019est somme toute logique, la machine arri\u00e8re \u00e9tant capable d\u2019envoyer \u00e0 la roue jusqu\u2019\u00e0 545 Nm<\/strong>, contre \u00ab\u00a0seulement\u00a0\u00bb 134 Nm au maximum pour le moteur avant.<\/p>\n

Ces deux moteurs sont aliment\u00e9s par un bloc batterie de 82 kWh<\/strong> (77 kWh utiles) en 400 volts<\/strong>, permettant en th\u00e9orie d\u2019atteindre un rayon d\u2019action de 522 km<\/strong> dans cette version VZ (568 km dans la version Endurance). Pour aider le client \u00e0 choisir, un simulateur d\u2019autonomie sera d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 sur le site internet de la marque. Il permettra, apr\u00e8s saisie de diff\u00e9rents crit\u00e8res r\u00e9sumant les habitudes d\u2019utilisation d\u2019un conducteur, d\u2019aider \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer la version \u00e0 privil\u00e9gier.<\/p>\n

Pour la recharge, pas de jaloux\u00a0: les deux mod\u00e8les se contentent d\u2019une charge DC \u00e0 135 kW maximum et de 11 kW en AC<\/strong>. Respectivement, cela permet \u2014 selon les donn\u00e9es constructeurs \u2014\u00a0de remonter le niveau de charge (SoC) de la batterie de 10 \u00e0 80 % en 28 minutes et de 0 \u00e0 100 % en 8 heures<\/strong>. Un mode de pr\u00e9conditionnement de la batterie est int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au planificateur et peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre activ\u00e9 \u00e0 la vol\u00e9e par le conducteur, sachant qu\u2019il faut compter une vingtaine de minutes une fois enclench\u00e9 avant que la batterie ne soit climatis\u00e9e de fa\u00e7on optimale pour sa recharge.<\/p>\n
