Les enfants re\u00e7oivent leur premier smartphone en moyenne \u00e0 l'\u00e2ge de 9 ans et neuf mois, r\u00e9v\u00e8le une \u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par M\u00e9diam\u00e9trie. Pourtant, de nombreux parents se disent inquiets que\u00a0leurs enfants ne deviennent d\u00e9pendants aux\u00a0\u00e9crans.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ce lundi 10 f\u00e9vrier 2020, M\u00e9diam\u00e9trie a publi\u00e9 les r\u00e9sultats d'une enqu\u00eate baptis\u00e9e \u201cLa Parentalit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve du num\u00e9rique\u201d et r\u00e9alis\u00e9e sur commande de l\u2019Observatoire de la parentalit\u00e9 et de l\u2019\u00e9ducation num\u00e9rique (Open) et l\u2019Union nationale des associations familiales (Unaf). \u00a0Selon l'\u00e9tude, les enfants “sont tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t propri\u00e9taires de leurs propres appareils”<\/em>. D\u00e8s l'\u00e2ge de 10 ans, 35% des enfants poss\u00e9dent d\u00e9j\u00e0 leur propre console de jeu vid\u00e9o. Ils sont 28% \u00e0 d\u00e9tenir leur propre tablette \u00e0 cet \u00e2ge l\u00e0. Enfin, 11% des enfants de 10 ans poss\u00e8dent aussi leur propre t\u00e9l\u00e9vision (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement dans leur chambre).<\/p>\n

M\u00eame son de cloche du c\u00f4t\u00e9 du smartphone. En moyenne, les enfants fran\u00e7ais re\u00e7oivent leur premier t\u00e9l\u00e9phone portable \u00e0 l'\u00e2ge de neuf ans et 9 mois. Selon M\u00e9diam\u00e9trie, 65% des jeunes de 11 \u00e0 14 ans ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 leur propre smartphone personnel. Dans la plupart des cas, le t\u00e9l\u00e9phone a \u00e9t\u00e9 offert en cadeau<\/strong> pour une occasion quelconque. En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, l'initiative vient directement des parents. “Seuls 11% des parents disent avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 oblig\u00e9s de c\u00e9der \u00e0 une demande insistante pour le smartphone”<\/em> note l\u2019Observatoire de la parentalit\u00e9 et de l\u2019\u00e9ducation num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n
