Battlefield\u00a02042 a certes \u00e9t\u00e9 un \u00e9chec commercial et critique, mais visiblement pas pour les raisons que l\u2019on croit. Alors que l\u2019on pourrait l\u00e9gitimement penser que la catastrophe est due \u00e0 la montagne de bugs qui ont infest\u00e9 le jeu \u00e0 sa sortie, EA affirme que la faute revient en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 la sortie anticip\u00e9e du multijoueur de Halo Infinite.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3 mois apr\u00e8s, il est temps pour EA de faire le bilan du naufrage Battlefield\u00a02042<\/a>. Difficile en effet pour l\u2019\u00e9diteur de pr\u00e9tendre que tout va bien au vu du raz-de-mar\u00e9e de m\u00e9contentement<\/strong> du c\u00f4t\u00e9 des joueurs. De plus, on ne peut qu\u2019imaginer que les ventes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cevantes puisque l\u2019entreprise refuse encore \u00e0 ce jour de divulguer le nombre exact de joueurs ayant achet\u00e9 le jeu<\/a>. La r\u00e9union interne tenue ce 15\u00a0f\u00e9vrier avait donc probablement l\u2019allure d\u2019une r\u00e9union de crise.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u2009Il est vraiment important de reconna\u00eetre quand nous avons des rat\u00e9s\u2009\u00bb<\/em>, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Laura Miele, directrice des studios d\u2019EA. \u00ab\u2009C\u2019est certainement le cas avec le lancement de Battlefield, qui n\u2019a pas r\u00e9pondu aux attentes de nos joueurs, et qui a aussi clairement manqu\u00e9 nos propres attentes.\u2009\u00bb <\/em>Erreurs il y a eu donc, mais certainement pas au niveau du d\u00e9veloppement. Non, pour l\u2019\u00e9diteur, le souci vient de la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19 et de\u2026 Halo Infinite<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
