Certains fabricants de cartes m\u00e8res manipulent les valeurs de puissance communiqu\u00e9es aux processeurs AMD Ryzen\u00a0 dans le but de les faire fonctionner \u00e0 des performances sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 celles autoris\u00e9es. Il s'agit d'un overclocking d\u00e9guis\u00e9 qui acc\u00e9l\u00e8re l'usure des puces, et ce, \u00e0 l'insu des utilisateurs ou encore d'AMD qui est contre ce genre de pratique.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Un rapport publi\u00e9 sur le forum HWiNFO explique comment certains fabricants de cartes m\u00e8res font d\u00e9lib\u00e9r\u00e9ment fonctionner les processeurs Ryzen d'AMD<\/a> \u00e0 une puissance largement sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celles correspondant aux sp\u00e9cifications du fondeur. La pratique en elle-m\u00eame est un overcloking qui ne dit pas son nom. Elle est op\u00e9r\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re ill\u00e9gale, sans le consentement des utilisateurs, encore moins d'AMD.<\/p>\n

Comme l'explique l'auteur du rapport, les processeurs Ryzen<\/strong> sur socket AM4 s'appuient sur des donn\u00e9es de t\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9trie externes provenant de la carte m\u00e8re pour d\u00e9terminer la puissance \u00e0 laquelle ils doivent fonctionner. Ces informations sont transmises au coprocesseur par le contr\u00f4leur VRM. Le coprocesseur se charge ensuite de g\u00e9rer l'alimentation et d'ajuster les param\u00e8tres de fonctionnement du CPU.<\/p>\n
