Des mesures lors d'un test ind\u00e9pendant r\u00e9v\u00e8lent que l'iPhone 11 Pro et l'iPhone 7 \u00e9mettent un niveau d'ondes qui d\u00e9passe largement les limites de d\u00e9bit d'absorption sp\u00e9cifiques de 1,6W\/Kg en vigueur aux Etats-Unis, ou m\u00eame les 2W\/Kg en vigueur en France. Ces r\u00e9sultats s\u00e8ment de nouveau le doute quant \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re dont les tests officiels sont men\u00e9s.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Il y a un an de cela, le Chicago Tribune avait confi\u00e9 au centre de mesure californien RF Exposure Labs de mesurer le DAS de plusieurs mod\u00e8les de smartphones populaires<\/a> : iPhone 7, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, Galaxy S8, Galaxy S9, Galaxy J3, Moto e5\/Play, Moto G6 Play et BLU Vivo 5 Mini. Les r\u00e9sultats avaient alors fait l'effet d'une petite bombe : la plupart des mod\u00e8les test\u00e9s d\u00e9passaient les limites en vigueur autoris\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Certains comme l'iPhone 7, l'iPhone 8, les Galaxy S8, S9 et J3 ainsi que le Moto e5 Play d\u00e9passaient plus de deux fois les normes autoris\u00e9es aux Etats-Unis (1,6 W\/kg) dans certaines conditions (en France la limite est \u00e0 2W\/kg). The Chicago Tribune souhaitait ainsi montrer que la mani\u00e8re dont les tests sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par la FCC am\u00e9ricaine n'\u00e9taient plus en ad\u00e9quation avec la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 de l'utilisation des smartphones. Par exemple, les mesures sont la plupart du temps r\u00e9alis\u00e9es \u00e0 plus de 5 mm du “corps”, simul\u00e9 via un liquide homog\u00e8ne (alors que les tissus du corps humain ne le sont pas).<\/p>\n

Quand bien m\u00eame ces appareils sont en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 le plus souvent transport\u00e9s en permanence \u00e0 une distance moindre du corps. Certains tests prennent encore en compte le port du smartphone dans un \u00e9tui \u00e0 la ceinture, pratique qui a pourtant pratiquement disparue avec la fin des t\u00e9l\u00e9phones GSM simples. Du coup, The Chicago Tribune a demand\u00e9 \u00e0 RF Exposure Labs de r\u00e9aliser ces tests \u00e0 2 mm du corps, pour mieux simuler le transport du smartphone dans la poche. Par ailleurs, les tests \u00e9taient r\u00e9alis\u00e9s sur des smartphones achet\u00e9s ind\u00e9pendamment dans le commerce et donc non fournis par les marques comme c'est souvent le cas lors de l'\u00e9tape de certification.<\/p>\n
