AMD s'appr\u00eate \u00e0 lancer sa nouvelle gamme de processeurs EPYC Rome bas\u00e9s sur la nouvelle architecture Zen 2 en 7nm. Le site allemand Planet3DNow.de d\u00e9voile la liste de 16 nouveaux processeurs, avec des specs monstrueuses, jusqu'\u00e0 64 coeurs et 128 threads, la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence la plus ch\u00e8re, propos\u00e9e autour de 8199 \u20ac. Un prix qui peut para\u00eetre de prime abord \u00e9lev\u00e9, mais qui casse en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 les prix, puisque l'on s'attend \u00e0 ce que la r\u00e9ponse d'Intel d\u00e9passe, tout en haut du panier, les 20.000 \u20ac.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On en a relativement peu parl\u00e9, mais quelque chose d'assez extraordinaire s'est pass\u00e9 dans le secteur du silicium, en marge du Computex 2019 : AMD a montr\u00e9 une avance technologique agressive sur son concurrent Intel – pourtant jusqu'ici h\u00e9g\u00e9monique. Avec l'architecture Zen 2, la gamme Ryzen entre dans l'\u00e8re du 7nm+ TSMC l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les prochains CPU Intel Ice Lake en 10nm ne sont pas attendus avant la fin de l'ann\u00e9e. Les derniers processeurs Ryzen sont tous compatibles avec le PCIe 4.0. Le tout avec des fr\u00e9quences de base au-dessus de ce que propose Intel. Et surtout pour moiti\u00e9 prix. Or il semble que les nouveaux AMD EPYC Rome bas\u00e9s sur l'architecture Zen 2 sonnent comme une nouvelle vol\u00e9e de bois vert pour Intel.<\/p>\n
